Justine Triet signs with one of Hollywood's most powerful talent agencies

The director, in the running for five Oscars, has just signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a talent agency which notably represents Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and George Clooney.

Justine Triet's American dream continues. While his last film Anatomy of a fall is nominated five times for the Oscars, the director has just signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the most powerful artist agencies in Hollywood, reports the specialist magazine Variety.

Founded in 1975, the Creative Artists Agency counts Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and George Clooney among its clients. Justine Triet is not the only French artist to have joined the ranks of this prestigious artistic agency: Adèle Haenel signed with them in February 2020 before leaving cinema.

More recently, Camille Cottin also signed a contract with another major American agency, United Talent Agency (UTA). After the worldwide success of Ten percentshe notably filmed in several American projects such as Stillwater with Matt Damon.

12 Cesar nominations

With five nominations (notably in the categories of best film, best direction and best actress), Anatomy of a fall is the most nominated French film at the Oscars since Love by Michael Haneke (five nominations in 2013) and The Artist by Michel Hazanavicius (ten nominations in 2012).

In France, Anatomy of a fall has totaled 1,424,101 entries since its release last August. Purchased in 155 countries, the Palme d'Or has attracted nearly 1.7 million admissions worldwide. Nominated twelve times for the César, Justine Triet's film won two awards at the Golden Globes (best foreign language film, best screenplay).
